About the Publisher
Publisher, Leslie Hurd has enjoyed a successful career as a publisher of international entertainment, hospitality, dining, and wedding magazines for over two decades. She launched her career in the early 1990s with Dining Out on Martha?s Vineyard magazine and following its unrivaled success, Leslie branched out destination wedding magazines on Martha?s Vineyard, Bermuda, The Cayman Islands, and the Virgin Islands. In 2014, Hurd launched EQL Destinations Weddings Life Style, the first national print publication committed to LGBT celebrations, which is now on stands across the nation. Among Leslie?s many accomplishments is working with acclaimed producer earl Lestz, formerly President of the Studio Group at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles. Leslie was hand-selected to publish Plymouth Rock Studios Magazine, which told the story of the idea for an upcoming movie studio and detailed the plans for its future.
Even with little time to spare, Leslie carves out time for causes near and dear to her heart. A staunch advocate against bullying, Leslie is an active volunteer and fundraiser for the non-profit, The Dream Believe Know It Foundation, a nationally recognized anti-bullying program. Also a passionate animal lover, Leslie works tirelessly with Pets with Wings, and Angels Helping Animals charities that find families for cats and dogs.
